2025 Switch On
The annual Blackpool Illuminations Switch-On event, one of the biggest in Blackpool’s calendar, has been staged indoors for the last few years but it's back to the Tower Headland for the 2025 Switch ON! This year will be a little different to traditional Switch On's! 2025 was again a FREE ticket event!! The 2025 event started at 5pm on Friday 29th August.
The main celebrations on the Tower Headland commenced at 7pm running to 9pm. Amongst the performers were be Olly Murs and Louisa Johnson.
The 2025 Switch On celebrity will be Olly Mors.
Olly Murs:
Olly is an English singer, songwriter, and television personality. He rose to prominence after participating on the sixth series of the television talent show The X Factor in 2009, where he finished as runner-up. He has had 7 albums and numerous top 40 hits.Celebrity Switch On stars have included:

The concert during which the guest will throw the switch marks the start of Blackpool´s Big Switch On Weekend.
